Darul Hikmah Islamic Centre is organizing a 3-day educational workshop on Zakat and Sadaqatul Fitr, conducted by the Darul Falah Department, to help Muslims understand the correct rulings, importance, and practical aspects of these important acts of worship.

This free live workshop will cover:

• The meaning and concept of Zakat in Islam
• The virtues and importance of Zakat in the Qur’an and Sunnah
• Who is eligible to receive Zakat
• Proper calculation and distribution of Zakat
• Understanding Sadaqatul Fitr (Fitrah) and its rulings
• Important practical guidelines every Muslim should know before Ramadan and Eid

Allah سبحانه وتعالى says:

"Zakat expenditures are only for the poor, the needy, those employed to collect it, those whose hearts are to be reconciled, for freeing captives, for those in debt, for the cause of Allah, and for the stranded traveler — an obligation from Allah. And Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise."
Surah At-Tawbah (9:60)

Through this workshop, participants will gain clear knowledge and practical understanding to fulfill this important obligation correctly.
